Automated Sample Preparation
Automated sample preparation systems from FMS are designed to replace outdated, labor-intensive techniques that hinder laboratory productivity. Our Total Sample Preparation systems improve the efficiency of both laboratory personnel and expensive instrumentation. Our automated sample preparation systems allow laboratory personnel to reduce costs, shorten sample turn around time and improve the quality and consistency of their results by eliminating the variability inherent with manual sample preparation methods. All FMS consumables are guaranteed and manufactured in Class 10,000 and Class 1,000 cleanroom environments and both our instruments and consumables are proudly made in the USA.
Sample clean-up systems perform sample cleanup, fractionation and concentration for up to eight samples simultaneously in less than 1 hour, while delivering the highest recoveries and best results for all target Dioxin and PCB analytes.
Pressurized Liquid Extraction (PLE) is a new sample extraction method that employs liquid solvents at elevated temperatures and pressures to prepare samples for analysis by either gas chromatography or liquid chromatography.
Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) is an extraction method that uses a solid phase and a liquid phase to isolate one, or one type, of analyte from a solution.
Solvent evaporation/concentration is a critical step in the sample preparation process used by the clinical, food, environmental, pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotechnology industries.

FMS introduces the first and only “Total Solution” Sample Prep system available that combines three sample prep processes into one economical package. The TRP Total-Rapid-Prep system performs the extraction, sample clean-up and concentration for six samples simultaneously in less than a few hours, producing the highest recoveries and best results for all target analytes. A Windows based system that is easy to use, controls the system and is fully programmable.
Applications include dioxins, PCBs, PAHs, PBDEs and pesticides.
